Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

sensely is operated by Hasten Inc., 1401 21st St Ste R, Sacramento, CA 95811, US. For privacy matters contact privacy@sensely.io.

2. Data we collect about you

• Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier. We never see your password.
• Your use of the Service: companies you watch and any title keywords, notification settings, plan and billing status, coverage requests, and feedback or support messages you send.
• Email delivery: which digests we sent you and delivery status from our email provider, including bounces and spam complaints — used only to stop emailing an address that rejects mail. Our emails contain no tracking pixels or click tracking.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept for a short period for security and debugging.
• Cookies: strictly necessary cookies (your session) and functional preferences (e.g. theme). Optional cookies are used only with your consent via the cookie banner; we currently use no third-party analytics.

3. Company and job-posting data

The Service's dataset consists of information about companies and their job postings, collected from publicly available career pages and job-board interfaces. It concerns organizations, not Service users. If a public posting contains personal data and you would like it removed from our systems, contact privacy@sensely.io.

4. How we use your data

To operate the Service (contract): accounts, watches, notifications, billing. To improve and secure it (legitimate interest): aggregate usage, abuse prevention. To send the emails you asked for: one daily digest, only on days when a company you watch changed. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link honored in one click, and digests can be turned off in your settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with processors that run the Service:

• Google (sign-in)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Stripe (payments; card details never touch our servers; Stripe receives your email address to send receipts)
• Google Cloud (hosting and database, United States)

6. Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. You can request deletion at any time via privacy@sensely.io; we complete it within 30 days, except records we must keep (e.g. billing). The company and job-posting dataset described in section 3 is retained indefinitely: it is the product, and it concerns organizations rather than Service users.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Exercise them via privacy@sensely.io; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Security and transfers

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and our systems are hosted in the United States; where data is transferred from other jurisdictions we rely on appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced in the Service or by email before they take effect.
